This week at the Y

4/26 HEALTHY KIDS DAY AT THE Y

On Saturday, April 26, from 1:00-4:00PM the Y is celebrating YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day®, the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of families. This FREE event is open to the public and will include fun active play and educational activities to keep kids moving and learning, in order to maintain healthy habits and academic skills to achieve goals and reach their full potential. CONGRATULATIONS ROBERT GRISWOLD

Congratulations to Robert Griswold for being selected for the 2014 Pan Pacific Para-Swimming Championships Team!!  Robert will be representing Team USA this summer in Pasadena, CA from August 2 -12.  Also as part of this selection he will be participating in the Pan Pacific Paralympic Camp at the USA Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO for 4 days in June.  This is a great accomplishment and we are all looking forward to Robert swimming in the Red, White and Blue with pride this summer.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GOES TO ZACK MOLLOY

TigerShark swim team member, Zachary Molloy, touched in 1:35.66 as he beat out the rest of the field by more than a second yesterday at the YMCA National Championships. Zack won the 200 Freestyle setting a new national record during the event held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION IS ONGOING
