BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS
Please be sure you have an active membership or have created a Non-Member account.
1. Registration cancellations will be honored prior to the start date of the program and will be issued as YMCA credit or can be posted back to original credit/debit card payment. YMCA credits are good for one year from the date of issue and may be used for any fee-based YMCA program.
2. Registration cancellations after the program start date will be refunded with YMCA credit for the cost of the total remaining classes in the program session. These cancellations are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please speak with the program director for more information/special accommodations.
3. The YMCA cannot accommodate make-up classes or refunds for classes missed due to personal conflicts.
4. The YMCA reserves the right to combine classes if there is insufficient enrollment or to cancel classes if combining levels is not an option. In the event of a completely cancelled class session, a full refund will be given.
5. If the YMCA cancels a scheduled class during the session (i.e. for inclement weather or pool closures), and a make-up class is not offered, a YMCA credit or refund will be issued.
6. Registration for programs are permitted through the first two weeks of the program session. Any classes missed due to late enrollment will be prorated. Requests to register for a program after the first two weeks of the program session, must be approved by a program director.
There may be situations in which a refund is requested. Refunds are at the discretion of the Directors, with a processing fee of 10% of the refund amount, up to a maximum of $25.00.
It takes an average of 4 to 6 weeks for a refund to be processed and paid out. Credits are available within 10 days upon approval from the Department Director.
Please be aware that YKids and the Tiger Sharks Swim Team have extended credit policies.
