At the Y, swimming is a life skill. Our swim lessons prepare kids of all ages to stay safe and have fun in the water while building strong kids and confident swimmers. The Ocean County YMCA strives to create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment for children, youth, and adults to develop as swimmers.
BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS
Please be sure you have an active membership or have created an account as a Non-Member.
We are excited to announce our new instructional format!
At the YMCA, our goal is to create a healthy respect for water to keep youth safe while creating a lifelong love of aquatics environments. In order to best serve our swimmers, the registration process has been streamlined to create a comprehensive and cohesive experience. Following the YMCA of the USA swimming curriculum, the student’s developmental levels determine which skills we introduce and build on as they progress during the program session. For registration, you simply select the age and time that works best for you.
*TRIAL CLASS available upon request. Please email our Aquatics department at aquatics@ocymca.org to schedule.
