Swimming Without Limits

Improves safety and comfort in the water for those with physical disabilities.

The Ocean County YMCA is pleased to offer Swimming Without Limits as part of our Adaptive Learning Program. This program is geared toward individuals coping with impaired vision, hearing loss, Parkinson’s, stroke, and other physical issues.

Focusing on safety and comfort in the water, SWOL is designed to help swimmers return to their previous level of swim ability, as well as to teach beginners. Accommodations are made based on each individual’s needs. Under the direction of our Adaptive and Autism Programming Director, our instructors work with individuals of all ages and are experienced in working with a variety of physical disabilities.

For more information, please contact Daniel Giacin, Adaptive and Autism Programming Director, at dgiacin@ocymca.org
