The Y nurtures the potential of children through the YMCA’s youth sports programming. We do this by strengthening character in our youth, engaging families, and building lasting relationships. Many positive aspects of psychological growth can result from sports participation including higher self-esteem, social skills, discipline, and respect for others. In addition, we want to create an environment that focuses on a healthy lifestyle, confidence building, developing new skills, and teamwork.
