Teen Fitness and Enrichment

Programs aimed at helping teens discover, explore, and expand their interests and talents .

Youth Pickleball

Learn the rules of the game, practice game skills, and participate in short practice matches.

  • Tuesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm
  • November 15th to December 20th
  • Ages 10 to 14 years
  • Free to OCYMCA Members
  • $35 for non- members

Youth Strength Training

This class will enhance the overall fitness level of an adolescent through a combination of strength training & cardio exercises. Class is once a week with a certified Y trainer.

  • Thursdays 7:00pm-7:50pm
  • November 3 through December 22
  • Ages 11 to 14
  • FREE to OCYMCA members
  • $35 for non-members

Fitness for All

This strength and endurance class focuses on traditional resistance training and sports related movement. Participants will improve individual fitness while working in a fun group setting. Available Mondays OR Thursdays. Class is taught by a certified Y trainer.

  • 5:30pm-6:15pm
  • Mondays, January 2 through February 20
  • Thursdays, January  5 through February 23
  • Ages 13 to adult
  • FREE to OCYMCA members
  • $35 for non-members

Credit Policy

A credit request may be granted for an extended illness/emergency of 3 weeks or more. A detailed doctor’s note that includes illness/injury and dates must be submitted with the request. Credits expire one year from the date of issue.

Should the Y find it necessary to cancel a class due to safety, weather, etc., a full credit or make-up class will be issued.

There may be situations in which a refund is requested. Refunds are at the discretion of the Directors, with a processing fee of 10% of the refund amount, up to a maximum of $25.00.

It takes an average of 4 to 6 weeks for a refund to be processed and paid out. Credits are available within 10 days upon approval from the Department Director.

Please be aware that YKids and the Tiger Sharks Swim Team have extended credit policies.
