Honoring Anne Kraljic
At the center of the YMCA’s logo is a triangle that stands for unification of the spirit, mind and body. It also represents the YMCA’s highest honor: The Red Triangle Award. This award is bestowed upon individuals whose YMCA volunteer service has been clearly distinguished by length of time, devotion to our mission, and significant participation to the advancement of the Y.
The Ocean County YMCA is pleased to honor Anne Kraljic with our 2023 Red Triangle Award.
Growing up a Y kid on Staten Island, Anne attended Y nursery school and worked her way through the Y swim program. Her first job was lifeguarding at the Y, where she met her husband Frank, also a Y lifeguard and swim instructor. When the Kraljic’s moved to Toms River in 2005, they remained part of the Y family, attending swim classes, swim meets and more with children Alex and Lily. She proudly served on the OCYMCA Board. And with Anne’s passion for exercise, she has also been a Y fitness instructor for 17 years. Try one of her classes!
Anne Kraljic is President and Owner of Vision Financial Services (VFS), an advisory firm that focuses on investments and service to families and businesses in a friendly atmosphere. In the financial services industry for over 20 years, Anne joined VFS in 2013 where she values assisting her clients in making good financial decisions. She enjoys helping others pursue their distinct goals and dreams.
That enjoyment extends to her local community. Anne is the Immediate Past President of Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ) and had been a board member for over ten years. She served as a past board member to 21Plus and was a Committee Chair for BSA Troop 36. Anne is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Toms River since 2005, Past Club President and Lt. Governor for the NJ Kiwanis District. Anne currently serves as a board member to the Ocean County College Foundation and is an active member of St. Joseph’s parish, most recently serving on their finance committee. Anne is proud to give back and continue serving the community that has helped shape her and her family’s lives.
This year’s reception will take place on Thursday, October 5th from 6pm-8pm.
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. This annual fundraising campaign supports the Y-Cares financial assistance program. Through funds raised, we can help build healthy, confident, connected and secure children and families.
