We’re Making Waves For The Next Generation

The pool was here for you, it's time to return the favor.

Ocean County YMCA 50 Years

From the novice to the competitive swimmer, toddler to the senior, thousands of individuals from our community and beyond have enjoyed the pool for over 20 years. We’ve already raised over $50,000 towards our $250,000 goal for much needed improvements to the Y’s aquatic facility.

Swim. Live. Dream.

Make waves with us!

Join Us For A Night Poolside

“We are calling upon anyone who has a memory that involves splashing around at the Y, including all the Tiger Shark alumni and adults who learned to swim here as a child… we need your help,” shared Gretchen Insole, Interim CEO of the Ocean County YMCA. “The pool was here for you, it’s time to return the favor. No donation amount is too small.  It’s time to make waves with us so the next generation can make new memories in the same pool that you did.”

It’s going to be a fun night filled with memories!!

Sunday, November 28th

Thank you Tiger Shark Families for saving the date of Sunday, November 28th for the OCY Making Waves Aqua-Thon!

The swimmers will pick a 30 minute block of time to swim; 2 per lane. We will live-stream (YouTube channel: OCY Tiger Sharks) the event so all donors and family members will have access to watch.

We encourage all OCY Tiger Sharks to participate. Our hope is a minimum goal per swimmer of $100, however, the more we raise the better. If we all engage we can easily reach the team goal of $15,000.
